covid Testing and uRgent care

We offer Covid-19 testing, both rapid and PCR, with a provider visit. Appointments are available for a Covid-19 testing visit through the Patient Portal or you can simply walk-in and appointments are then given on a first-come first-serve basis. To make an appointment for a covid test please use the patient portal available on this website - SEE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:

If you are already a registered patient simply log in to the patient portal and request an appointment time. (You will need to become "web-enabled." If you have not done this in the past, please call the office for instructions.) The appointment icon is on the left side of the first screen. Choose "Covid Test" as appointment type. After you have requested your time slot you will get a confirmation call.

If you are not a registered patient, first register to become our patient. The link to do this is on the bottom of the patient portal page. After you have registered to be a patient, you can follow the instructions above for making an appointment for a Covid Test.

If you come to our office for covid testing you will see a provider who performs the test. If other tests are appropriate our office will provide counseling and treatment as necessary. 

If you are not our patient and have an HMO insurance plan, you must obtain a referral from your PCP in order to see a provider and be tested. Please do not ask your PCP for a  referral to be tested. Ask for a referral to SEE ANY of our providers on an urgent basis because of symptoms, exposure, travel, etc. If you have a PPO insurance plan you usually do not need a referral. 

We accept most insuracne plans. At this time we do not accept:  ALLWAYS-MY FAMILY CARE, BMC, FALLON DIRECT, FALLON WELLFORCE, TUFTS TOGETHER OR TUFTS MEDICARE PREFERRED HMO. If you have one of these insurance plans please look into other options for testing.
